In an alternate universe, Julie and Rob had comfortable positions in their respective jobs, had spent a couple of weeks a year exploring various landmarks around the world and ticking the boxes. They had made it in life and thought it was time that they settled down. They were comfortable with their lives and it was time to buy a house, have some children, and probably get married. In this alternative universe, Rob thought it would be an interesting idea that instead of the lady of the relationship taking on the surname of the man, he would take on the surname of the lady. And so he became Bob Mountain.
Back in this universe, when in Dingle on the food festival tour (see blog post here) we stumbled across Irish micro brewers Mountain Man Brewing Company that made the delicious Hairy Goat. And you thought that Ireland was only about Guinness? Wrong. It seems that the tasty independent beer revolution has made it to the Emerald Isle as well.
